Created with the Materialise 3-matic Lightweight Structures Module and 3D-printed in titanium, this medical implant showcases different kinds of complex porous structures to add a functionality that could only be achieved with 3D Printing. The unique patterns in the metal enable the bone to grow into the implant, which is crucial in ensuring that the implant stays securely in place.
