Born with a heart tumor, 16-year-old Bradley White had undergone several cardiac problems and was back at the hospital for yet another procedure. His doctors created a 3D-printed replica of his heart, giving them more confidence to proceed with their intended course of action.

Dr. Michael Taylor, Director of Advanced Imaging at The Heart Institute of Cincinnati Children’s Hospital (USA), provided the CT images of Bradley’s heart to Todd Pietila, a cardiovascular specialist at Materialise USA. Todd then designed a 3D-printed replica of Bradley’s heart.
