A 15-year-old girl suffered from Neurofibromatosis, a congenital disease that destroyed her pelvis, thus leading to severe pain. Two years after receiving a patient-specific 3D-printed Acetabular implant, she was able to get back to school, even without crutches.

Founded as part of the Materialise Group in 2008, Mobelife NV aims to serve and assist healthcare providers directly – and patients indirectly – by a completely customized product development process for custom orthopedic implants.

Mobelife’s highly specialized team evaluates each case individually. Both the hard and soft tissue are taken into account in order to forecast implant integrity and performance, guaranteeing an optimal fit, better stability, and improved mobility. Mobelife products, hereby, meet the highest standards for custom implants and, therefore, maximally improve the patient’s quality-of-life after complex reconstruction surgery.
